Welcome to Together We Are Better where colleagues from Grandview ISD, Godley ISD, Keene ISD, and Rio Vista ISD will share their knowledge and network as educators.
Students will truly be "makers of learning" using this technique! Students learn cooperatively (using YOUR curriculum) by creating posters of a lesson. Once their posters have been made, they "teach" each other, pick a group "teacher" who stays behind with their poster, and groups rotate around the room. Each poster "teacher" teaches the other groups. Once the groups have finished rotating, they go back to their poster's "teacher" and take their teacher around and teach him/her all of the other posters! Students get the benefit of working together in translating a lesson pictographically and then teaching it to others. Adults and students can use this method to teach each other a large amount of information surprisingly quickly!
